General information：

Acetaminophen, also known as paracetamol or APAP, is an organic compound that serves as the active metabolite of phenacetin. It exerts its therapeutic effects by inhibiting prostaglandin synthase in the hypothalamic thermoregulatory center, thereby reducing the synthesis and release of prostaglandin PGE. As a widely used antipyretic and analgesic agent, it is commonly employed for relieving mild to moderate pain and fever.

Indication:

（1）Antipyretic: 

Reduces fever in swine, poultry, and cattle caused by infections (e.g., swine fever, avian influenza) or post-vaccination reactions.

（2）Analgesic:

 Alleviates post-operative pain, arthritis, and muscle pain in animals.

（3）Anti-stress: 

Mitigates discomfort and improves survival rates during stressful conditions (transportation, weaning, heat stress).
