Sulfanilamides are usually bactericidal against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative micro-organisms, by affecting bacterial purine synthesis.

Sulfamethazine Sodium is mainly used for the treatment of bacterial infection associated with meningitis, pneumococcal, hemolytic streptococcus, and certain gram-negative bacillus.

Precaution：Do not use in laying birds. Do not add to swine feeds. Sulfonamides can cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals.
