PRODUCT DETAILS

Tilmicosin, a macrolide antibiotic synthesized from tylosin, inhibits the bacterial protein synthesis without affecting the nucleic acid synthesis. It has a wide spectrum of activity against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative microorganisms. By oral administration, tilmicosin is distributed throughout the body, especially high level in the lung, liver and kidney tissues, and is excreted mainly via bile into the faeces.

  • For treatment of swine respiratory diseases (SRD) and bovine respiratory disease (BRD);
  • For the control and prevention of arthritis and porcine polyserositis associated with Haemophilus parasuis.;
  • For the treatment of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) and circovirus pneumonia (post-weaning multisystemic wasting syndrome - PMWS and porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome – PDNS);
  • For treatment of bacterial infections of the alimentary tract, and prevention of mastitis in and reproductive tract infection in swine.
