General information:
L-Threonine is the second or third limiting amino acid for pigs (after lysine and methionine) and the third limiting amino acid in poultry feed. Its core function is to improve feed conversion rate and reduce formula costs.
Indication:
1. Piglet Feed
Function: Due to the high content of plant protein in piglet diets, it can easily cause intestinal immune stress. Threonine is a core component of mucin. Adding threonine can thicken the intestinal mucosal barrier and significantly reduce the incidence of diarrhea in weaned piglets.
2. Poultry Feed
Function: It improves the daily weight gain and feed conversion ratio of broilers. It is crucial for the feather development of poultry. A deficiency in threonine can lead to poor feather growth and feather pecking.
3. Aquatic Feed
Function: It enhances the immune and disease resistance of aquatic animals, reducing stress caused by high-density farming.
Usage Methods and Recommendations
Direct Addition: Calculate according to the feed formula and mix directly or through pre-mixing with bulk raw materials such as corn and soybean meal using a mixer.
Recommended Dosage: Depending on the animal species, growth stage, and basal diet, the recommended addition amount is 0.5 - 3 kg per ton of complete feed.
